Hello, lovelies!
Just a quick update: I’ll be shuffling a few things around behind the scenes for the next couple of days. The site might act a little weird while I test everything and make sure it all plays nicely together. Thank you in advance for being patient with me. I promise it’s all for good reasons.
Blogroll Refresh
If you noticed the blogroll stopped updating… yeah, that wasn’t your imagination. The old tool decided to shove everything behind a paywall, and I am not spending $100 a year for something that should be simple. So I built my own!
It does exactly what the old one did, just cleaner, faster, and without the constant headaches.
Bonus? A few blogs that refused to display before are finally working again.
(Kandi, my love! I’m so sorry it took this long! Everyone go show her some affection: https://kandis-land.com/)
Smarter Post Scheduling
I cannot even begin to explain how much I think about this blog. It lives rent-free in my head 24/7, and if something isn’t lined up just right, it absolutely gnaws at me.
Scheduling posts has always been the thing that bothered me the most. If I planned out five posts and wanted to move one? I had to manually update every single one. (And I do this far more than one should.)
So… I built a new scheduling tool for myself.
Think of it like one giant buffer:
- Add a post → it goes into the queue
- Drag one higher or lower → everything updates automatically
- And yes, there are a few ADHD-friendly features baked in. Because of course there are.
It already feels so much better.
That’s it for now. Quick and to the point. Things may wobble a little while I finish tweaking everything, but we’re getting there.
Thanks for sticking with me while I play mad scientist with my own website. 💕

I hope the updates go well 🤞 Top job with the coding.
Might you pop them on GitHub for the less programmatically enlightened amongst us? 🙂

They are currently on GitHub, but private repo. Let me do some thinking. A few things I’d like to clean up/fix before I make those available. Will keep you updated.
